Zain Innovation Campus, Replit, and Tamatem Invite Developers to Join the “Prompt and Play” Hackathon

Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), in collaboration with “Replit” and Tamatem, announced the opening of registrations for the “Prompt and Play” hackathon. This interactive experience brings together creators and developers to build the next generation of digital games using artificial intelligence technologies, transforming new ideas in the gaming space into innovative, playable experiences.

The hackathon will kick off on May 14th and run for three consecutive days, during which participants will have the opportunity to develop their ideas and turn them into playable game prototypes. Leveraging AI tools and collaborative teamwork, the event aims to support the creation of “games of the future” in faster and more innovative ways.

The program will feature a series of specialized sessions covering various aspects of game development. The hackathon will begin with an introductory session by Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), outlining the concept, key themes, evaluation criteria, and schedule. Replit’s team will deliver a session titled “Vibe Coding,” focusing on rapid prototyping using AI tools and efficiently transforming ideas into executable products.

Tamatem will also host specialized sessions, including strategies for game monetization through models such as in-app purchases, advertising, and subscriptions, as well as a session on UX/UI design principles aimed at creating engaging and user-friendly games. The hackathon will conclude with a pitching session led by Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), helping participants present their ideas professionally to the judging panel.

At the end of the hackathon, Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) will award cash prizes to the top three teams: JOD 1,500 for first place, JOD 1,000 for second place, and JOD 500 for third place, enabling winners to continue developing their projects. “Replit” will also provide participants with access to its advanced AI models to support the development and enhancement of their games.

Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), Replit, and Tamatem have invited developers, designers, and digital content creators to register and take part in this unique experience through their social media platforms. The hackathon represents a valuable opportunity to learn, build skills, connect with industry experts, and explore new horizons in game development.
