Zain Cash: The Digital Financial Services Provider for the 19th Edition of Souq Jara

Zain Cash has announced its sponsorship of the 19th edition of Souq Jara, taking part as the official digital financial services provider. Organized by Jabal Amman Residents Association (JARA) in partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality, the popular market will run every Friday until September 19.

This sponsorship aligns with Zain Cash’s ongoing commitment to supporting community initiatives and empowering Jordanian artisans and craftsmen. Through this collaboration, Zain Cash aims to equip local vendors with access to flexible financing options and digital financial services, enabling them to manage their finances and grow their businesses more effectively. Zain Cash is also working to enhance financial inclusion among both vendors and market visitors by providing access to its diverse digital payment solutions—facilitating smoother transactions and supporting the development of small and medium enterprises.

The Souq Jara season will feature a variety of cultural and musical performances, including traditional music and artistic groups from across the Arab region and beyond. As one of Amman’s leading cultural and tourist attractions, Souq Jara offers a unique experience that blends the charm of Jordanian heritage with a modern creative spirit, appealing to visitors of all ages.

As part of its offerings, Zain Cash provides Sharia-compliant credit cards in three categories—Classic, Platinum, and World—without interest or fees. These cards, launched in partnership with Mastercard, offer comprehensive financial benefits and flexible credit limits ranging from JOD 100 to JOD 5,000, with no salary transfer or issuance fees required. Zain Cash also delivers a wide array of digital financial services, including cash-in/cash-out operations, purchases at various retail outlets and restaurants, and both local and international online shopping via the Zain Cash Mastercard, which users receive upon opening a Zain Cash wallet.

Since its launch in 2011, Zain Cash has become a key player in Jordan’s digital financial services sector and prepaid card market and is currently the largest issuer of Mastercard cards in the Kingdom.
