Wave Two of the AHLI FINTECH Incubator Program Concludes

AHLI FINTECH, a fully owned subsidiary of Jordan Ahli Bank, has concluded the second cohort of its Incubator Program. The ceremony brought together senior executives from Jordan Ahli Bank and program partners to celebrate the culmination of 20 weeks of innovation and fintech solution development, and to recognize the five top-performing startups that successfully completed the program.

The second cohort was selected from the top 10 finalists of the third edition of the AHLI FINTECH Hackathon, which took place earlier in 2025 in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation. The hackathon attracted 119 applications from six countries across the MENA region, with 24 teams ultimately chosen to compete by presenting forward-thinking fintech concepts.

Throughout the Incubator Program, the startups participated in hands-on workshops, received tailored mentorship and benefited from access to a network of industry experts as they developed their solutions. Several proofs of concept were also tested via ahli Group companies.

During the closing ceremony, the five startups pitched to an audience of Jordan Ahli Bank executives and program partners, showcasing their full journeys from the hackathon stage through to the completion of the Incubator Program.

Jordan Ahli Bank CEO/General Manager and Chairman of the Board of AHLI FINTECH, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hussein, stated, “These very early-stage startups presented innovative solutions they developed throughout the program, exhibiting clear proof of the entrepreneurial energy that exists in Jordan and the ability of our youth to devise solutions that create tangible impact within the financial sector. What we witnessed today reinforces our conviction that investing in local talent directly contributes to building a more future-ready economy. We will continue working closely with our partners to broaden horizons for these startups, unlock new market opportunities and amplify their positive impact across the financial ecosystem.”

The hackathon serves as a platform to identify high-potential founders with innovative fintech ideas that can address major challenges and create meaningful impact when nurtured through the Incubator Program. This approach highlights the shared commitment of AHLI FINTECH and Jordan Ahli Bank to advancing the Kingdom’s fintech ecosystem by equipping startups with networking opportunities, access to real-world testing environments and the support needed to build scalable, investable solutions that fuel economic activity and foster sustainable development.
