“العلوم التطبيقية” تحصل على 13 مشروعا بالشراكة مع جامعات أوروبية مرموقة

فازت جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة بثلاثة عشر مشروعاً كان قد تقدم بها مكتب العلاقات الدولية في الجامعة ضمن برنامج التبادل الطلابي والأكاديمي بالشراكة مع جامعات أوروبية مرموقة، حيث توزعت المشاريع الفائزة على النحو التالي:

أربعة مشاريع مع جامعات في بولندا، مشروعين مع جامعات مختلفة في كل من: إيطاليا وإسبانيا ورومانيا، ومشروع واحد مع كل من: صربيا وبريطانيا وقبرص، للطلبة والأكاديميين في التخصصات التالية: الهندسة، الصيدلة، تكنولوجيا المعلومات، الحقوق، الآداب، الأعمال، والفنون والتصميم.

مشاريع الـ ICM تضفي طابعاً رسمياً لتبادل الأكاديميين والطلبة بين التطبيقية والجامعات المستضيفة، وتتيح للطلبة فرصة الدراسة في الخارج والاطلاع على الثقافات المختلفة؛ مما يمكنهم من توسيع مداركهم وآفاقهم الاجتماعية وتطوير مهاراتهم اللغوية واكتساب المهارات العملية والتدريبية في تخصصاتهم المختلفة، وهذا ما تسعى إليه جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة للارتقاء بالعملية التعليمية وتحسين مخرجات وجودة التعليم المقدمة لطلبتها.

وبدوره أعرب رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور محفوظ جودة عن اعتزازه بالشراكات والاتفاقيات الدولية التي أبرمها مكتب العلاقات الدولية في جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة مع جامعات أوروبية ودولية مختلفة، ضمن الخطة الاستراتيجية التي تتبناها الجامعة والمتمثلة بتعزيز شراكاتها وتعاونها مع الجامعات العريقة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.

كما وأكدت الأستاذ الدكتورة إيمان البشيتي رئيس مكتب العلاقات الدولية على جاهزية الجامعة وتوفيرها كافة الإمكانيات والتسهيلات للطلبة الدوليين والأكاديميين، الذين سيتم استقبالهم في التطبيقية ضمن اتفاقيات الشراكة الموقعة مع جامعاتهم، مقدرةً ثقة الجامعات الشريكة بالمستوى التعليمي والأكاديمي للتطبيقية والسمعة الطيبة التي تتمتع بها الجامعة على المستويين المحلي والدولي كمؤسسة تعليمية رائدة في الأردن والشرق الأوسط.

ASU has been awarded with thirteen academic mobility projects that have been selected for funding within the Erasmus+ program supported by the European Union for the year 2020. Erasmus + International Credit Mobility (ICM)

The Applied Science Private University won 12 projects that were submitted by the International Relations Office at the university in partnership with prestigious European universities. The winning projects are distributed as follows:

• Four projects with univ. in Poland

• Two projects with univ. in Italy

• Two projects with univ. in Spain

• Two projects with univ. in Romania

• One project with a univ. in UK

• One project with a univ. in Serbia

In addition, ASU has also entered an additional mobility project with a university in Cyprus last March. Such mobility programmes will involve students and academics exchange in the following disciplines: engineering, information technology, pharmacy, law, arts and humanities, business, art and design.

ICM projects enable academic and student exchange between home and host universities. It provides students with the opportunity to study abroad and learn about different cultures, expand social and linguistic skills, and gain competences in their specializations. The ICM projects fit within the broadest institutional mission of ASU, which consist in providing the highest quality education, diversifying educational pathways, and eventually maximising the competitiveness of its graduates in the job market.

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mahfouz Judeh, expressed his pride in the international partnerships and agreements concluded by the International Relations Office at ASU with the various European and international universities within the strategic plan adopted by the university.

Professor Iman Al-Bashiti, Head of the International Relations Office, emphasized that the university is ready to send ASU students and academics to the partner universities and it is also equipped for hosting international students and academics at ASU as part of the partnership agreements signed with the European universities.
